1. General Terms
1.1. This Privacy Policy and Payment Terms define the procedure by which SIA “Mučas”, Reg. No. LV40103263487, legal address: Jāņa Čakstes 1–41, Sigulda, LV-2150 (hereinafter – Data Controller) acquires, processes, and stores personal data, as well as the procedure for booking, payment, and cancellation.
1.2. The camping area is private and intended only for guests with a valid reservation. By making a reservation and staying in the camping area, the client confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.
1.3. The Data Controller provides accommodation and stay services, not physical goods. Therefore, product returns are not applicable.
2. Booking, Confirmation, and Payment
2.1. Bookings are made online by filling out the reservation form.
2.2. Payment is made only after the reservation is confirmed by the campsite. The campsite reserves the right to:
- contact the client to clarify reservation details;
- refuse a reservation if the service cannot be provided.
2.3. After reservation confirmation, the client is provided with the option to make payment using online payment solutions.
2.4. Payment processing is provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, managed by Maksekeskus AS. Personal data required for payments is transferred to the aforementioned payment service provider.
2.5. Payments are made to:

3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1. Reservations can be cancelled no later than 7 days before the reserved date.
3.2. If a reservation is cancelled within the specified period, 75% of the payment made will be refunded.
3.3. If a reservation is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival or in case of a no-show, no refund will be issued.
3.4. As a service with a specific performance date is provided, consumer withdrawal rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Law are not applicable.
4. Weather Conditions
4.1. Adverse weather conditions are not a basis for a refund.
4.2. If weather conditions significantly affect the possibility of staying, the campsite may, at its discretion:
- offer to change the reservation date;
- or consider the situation individually.
5. Personal Data Processing
5.1. The Data Controller may process the following personal data:
- name, surname;
- contact information (email address, phone number);
- reservation data (dates, selected service, price);
- payment information (in partial scope, according to the payment service provider’s terms);
- other information provided by the client during communication.
5.2. The legal basis for personal data processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) – performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests.
5.3. Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the performance of the reservation, accounting, and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Data Transfer to Third Parties
6.1. Personal data may be transferred to:
- the payment service provider Maksekeskus AS;
- accounting service providers;
- state and law enforcement authorities in cases specified by regulatory acts.
7. Data Subject Rights
The client has the right to:
- access their personal data;
- request data correction or deletion;
- restrict data processing;
- lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate.
Requests can be submitted by contacting the Data Controller electronically.
8. Final Provisions
8.1. The Data Controller has the right to make changes to these terms at any time. The current version is always available on the website.
8.2. The terms have been developed in accordance with the EU GDPR, the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia, and the requirements of the payment service provider.
